What Are We Drinking Now? Groundwork Picpoul Carbonique Paso Robles

Marshall has a dry, gorgeous, tangerine-y, peachy orange wine for you.

Groundwork Picpoul Carbonique Paso Robles – California

As summer stretches on and the heat beats down, who doesn’t want to reach for a fun, refreshing drink? My go-to for these blistering days is Groundwork’s Picpoul Carbonique, a lovely skin-contact wine made from Picpoul, Malvasia, and Malbec.

This delicious blend is treated to carbonic maceration, which produces a soft body and makes Groundwork almost too easy to drink. You can expect flavors of tangerine, peach, and jasmine green tea, but make no mistake, this is dry and gorgeous. Try it with bratwursts, burgers, or a warm evening with a good book.
