Proudly a creature of whims, I’ve never been much for depriving my feral little heart of its cravings, making my January a very dry-martini one. And what could be better than one martini? Why, three, of course! This dynamite little lineup reminded me that life is too short, too beautiful, and, at times, too heartbreaking not to delight in every single little happiness.
Our three featured martinis:
1. Smoked Rye Gimlet
2. Salty Dickens
3. Dirty Bleu Martini
(Ratios all the same.)
• 1/2 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
• 1oz Brine
• 2oz Spirit
Vigorously shake and strain into garnished glass.
