Seth would like to encourage you not to go all-out red quite yet — this white will warm your bones.
Domaine Barou Avec Le Temps – Charnas, Rhône Valley, France
This Rhône blend is a mix of Roussanne, Vermentino, and Viognier. It’s complex, rich, and classy without being pretentious. There are subtle floral and honey hints that are balanced by a complementary bitter lemon zest and a nice dry finish. A perfect wine for a charcuterie spread, some pâté, a juicy roasted chicken, or even your favorite spicy Thai or Chinese takeout.
I know some of you are adamant about drinking only reds now that it’s cooler, but I strongly encourage you not to miss out on an awesome white wine like this — its 13% ABV will have no problem warmin’ up those cold bones on a chilly October night.
