Bear Creek Distillery Silver Rum – Straight Outta Denver
A gorgeous fall has graced us with its brisk air, chilly nights, and sudden rain storms. Such a lovely setting deserves an equally lovely libation.
During what is my most-loved of all the seasons, my heart yearns for the familiar flavors of my childhood. This little window into my soul will reveal what are some of my most treasured ingredients: fresh mint and lemon, tamarind, pomegranate molasses, and rose water. All of which will be gently held together by the soft canvas of Bear Creek Distillery’s Silver Rum.
After a quick muddle and shake you will be holding something I think is very, very special. I hope you savor this one as much as I do.
Ingredients
• 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
• Generous Handful of Fresh Mint
• 1/2 oz Tamarind Syrup
• 1/2 oz Pomegranate Molasses
• 1 oz Rose Water
• 2 1/2 oz Bear Creek Distillery’s Silver Rum
• Thick Slice of Lemon
• Soda Water
• Ice
Directions
• In a cocktail shaker, muddle simple syrup and mint.
• Add tamarind, pomegranate molasses, rose water, rum, and ice.
• Shake vigorously.
• Strain into a pint glass, over a rock.
• Twist lemon slice and add to glass.
• Top with soda water.
• And most importantly: Drink.
